A strange pup for certain, Hau was born mute, unable- or unwilling to talk to even his brethren in coat and arms. Born to a wild pack, Hauberk was kicked out of the pack life (once he was able to fend for himself) due to no one in the pack feeling like he could be trusted or helped) and was forced to live on his own. Upon coming across his first village of tame vayrons and humans, Hauberk kept his distance, not wanting to be shunned by another pack. Eventually, his trust was gained, and he gained the trust of a few villagers and domesticated vayrons, being accepted and allowed to be close to humans and learn from them. Over time, he learned of different jobs vayrons were allowed to do, and upon hearing about guardianship, he set his goals on becoming one. However, due to his inability to communicate and some suspicious occurrences, Hau was kicked out of guard training and sent to work on a farm away from the village he had temporarily gained the trust of. He didn't seem to mind the minor failure, though he took the shunning of the village a bit more harshly, however continued to take his work and studies seriously, even if it was just farm work. He seems to hope of returning one day and completing his training, diligently proving his worth in the harsh lands of Roenden.
Oddly enough, Hauberk seems to have mentalist abilities, though even with such is still unable to communicate with others. Instead, he invokes extremely strong feelings in others, often able to share in other's feelings, as well as express his own. Though a rudimentary way of communication, he is able to have some form of speech in this manner. It's just silent, and often extremely complex.
